Plasma Fibroblast

Information

Q. What is a Plasma Fibroblast Lift?

A. It is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a device to deliver a minute plasma blast to the skin. The plasma blast immediately tightens and rejuvenates the skin by generating & activating naturally occurring fibroblast cells.

Q. What are the benefits of a Plasma Fibroblast Lift?

A. The benefits are: Immediately Reduce & Tighten Skin, Reduce Wrinkles, Rejuvenates Skin, Long Lasting Results, Inexpensive Lift Service, Short Recovery Time, No Surgery, No Injections, Minimal Side Effects.

Q. When will I start to see a change?

A. The Plasma Fibroblast treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first treatment and will continue to generate new fibroblast cells over the next 8 weeks with improved results. Follow up treatment may be performed after 8 weeks depending on your skin’s healing. Patients vary.

Q. How long does a Plasma Fibroblast lift take to heal?

A. The dots naturally fall off after 7 - 14 days, depending on the location of treatment. You will continue to see improved results for up to 2 months after the initial Plasma Fibroblast Lift.

Q. How long does it last for?

A. The results should last as long as 5 years. Like all surgical and cosmetic procedures, the effects of Plasma Fibroblast Lifts are not entirely permanent as it does not stop any further ageing, Additionally, there are lifestyle factors that can prevent the result from lasting as long as they can, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and prolonged sun exposure.

Q. Is the Plasma Fibroblast Lift painful?

A. There is a minimal level of discomfort during the procedure depending on the treated area. The larger the area than the higher amount of discomfort you may feel. Clients sensitivity vary.

Q. What should I expect to see after the procedure?

A. During the procedure dots, carbon crusts, will form on the skin directly where the plasma blast was performed. The carbon crusts will flake away over a week or so, exposing a pink layer of healthy new skin.

Q. What does the Plasma Fibroblast device do?

A. The  device works by utilizing the voltage in the air between it’s tip and the skin, to form a plasma charge. Once performed a brown dot is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin. This stimulates new collagen and retracts by tightening the skin which gives results that are comparable to invasive surgery. Several dots will be placed on the desired area for best results. It’s the only non-surgical treatment to reduce the excess skin immediately and successfully.

Q. How long have Plasma Fibroblast Lifts been in use for?

A. Plasma Fibroblast Lifts have been used in the U.S. for 3 years and for 12 years in Europe. Plasma Fibroblast Lifts increased in popularity due to its many advantages over surgery. There is less downtime, it’s less expensive, no cutting of the skin and no stitches. This means you can return to work even sooner.

Q. What to expect on your day of treatment?

A. On the treatment day, do not wear makeup or moisturizer on the treatment area. We suggest taking an antihistamine one hour before your appointment and continue to take antihistamines for two to three days after your appointment. This will reduce swelling in the treatment area. A numbing agent is placed on treatment area and left to take effect for 1 hour. When the area is sufficiently numb the treatment will begin. During the process you may feel some heat and minor irritation. Swelling may intensify over the following few hours when eyes are treated and may last 2 - 3 days. The session will last 2 - 3 hours depending on the size of the treatment area. We will also provide aftercare instructions after the lift is complete..

Q. What are the aftercare instructions?

A. During your first appointment you will be given aftercare instructions. Following these instructions is critical for best results. There should be no sun exposure to the treated area for at least 1 week. You should avoid rubbing or scratching the treated area. No exfoliators or harsh cleansers can be used in the week following your treatment. We recommend a pH balanced soap such as Dove.

Q. How many treatments are required?

A. The number of treatments required will vary according to the area being treated, skin laxity, the desired degree of correction and the individual’s response to the treatment. Most clients see results instantly and this continues to improve over the course of the following 8 weeks. Further treatments can be carried out to get better results, although it is uncommon to require more than two treatments if aftercare is followed correctly. Appointments must be spaced out by 8 - 10 weeks.
